학교는 해변가가 내려다 보이는 캠퍼스와 시드니 중심부의 캠퍼스로 나뉘어서 자리잡고 있습니다. 물론 두 곳 모두 도서관, 자습실, 컴퓨터 룸 등 시설적인 부분은 완벽하게 갖춰져 있습니다.
일반영어 코스에는 대화, 발음, 문법의 향상을 위하여 최선을 다해서 노력하고 있습니다. 항상 영어만을 사용할 수 있도록 하는 교육방침에 많은 유학생들로부터 좋은 반응을 얻고 있습니다. 회화클럽, 스포츠 모임 등 방과후에도 학생들의 영어실력 향상을 위하여 최선을 다하고 있습니다.

MANLY CAMPUS

International House Sydney is located on Darley Road in the heart of Manly, only 5 minutes walk to the beach, the Manly Wharf or all the shops and cafes of the Corso. Manly is a holiday destination located on a peninsula between Sydney Harbour and the Pacific Ocean. The Sydney CBD (Central Business District) is 25 minutes by bus, 30 minutes by ferry or 15 minutes by high-speed jetcat. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of a holiday resort and only minutes from the centre of Sydney by ferry or jetcat. Next to:

Besides our great classrooms, self access labs and exciting social programme, all students have free access to International House's computer based language programmes, Net Languages. Students can do extra English practice outside class time.

1)ENGLISH AND GOLF

Improve your stroke with professional coaching while enjoying one of Sydney's most beautiful and popular golf clubs. Your golf lessons are in the afternoons, following your morning English lesson. The Manly Golf Club and Course is just 10 minutes by bus from the college. On your first day, a staff member will escort you to the club and introduce you to your instructor. You should wear suitable golf attire while on the golf course.

• General English part-time (morning tuition Monday to Friday)
  
• 3 golf lessons per week with a professional coach (30 minutes each) after school
• Lessons followed by a 9-hole game, included in the price, three times per week

2)ENGLISH AND TENNIS

 Sharpen your tennis strokes with professional coaching. Manly Tennis Centre is conveniently located just 5 minutes walk from the school. We will enrol you in tennis lessons at a convenient time after school. Your instructor will design a program to suit your appropriate level, meet your specific needs, and which will further develop your game. Bring suitable footwear and sports clothing.

3)ENGLISH AND SURFING

Learn to surf the waves of beautiful Manly beach. Manly Surf School is Sydney's largest surf school and has been instructing students for more than 18 years. Come and experience the fun of riding a wave, learn surf awareness and surf safety. Course is suitable for first-time students or those hoping to learn more advanced techniques. Students can surf year-round in Sydney's warm climate.

General English part-time (morning tuition Monday to Friday)
4 surf lessons (2 hours each) after school or weekends
Equipment included - surfboard and wetsuit

4)ENGLISH AND DIVING

Now is the time to dive into an English plus PADI Open Water Dive Course, the most popular dive programme in the world! You'll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive theory and techniques.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will also earn a PADI Open Water Diver Certificate, recognized worldwide. The PADI Open Water Dive course includes five pool dives and knowledge development sessions and four open water (ocean or lake) dives. Course includes diving equipment, manual and a logbook.

5)ENGLISH AND SAILING

Learn to sail with qualified instructors on beautiful Sydney harbour, and gain an internationally recognised Competent Crew Certificate from the Australian Yachting Federation. Beginners reach a standard where they are useful as crew members, ready for social racing and cruising. Learn points of sail, trimming techniques, helming and right of way. You also have the opportunity to meet local skippers and volunteer to join them for social racing on Sydney harbour.

과외 활동 (Activities)

Sydney is a vibrant city, offering many great attractions. We organise an exciting social programme with many opportunities for students to mix and make friends from all over the world.

The activities are inexpensive, varied and plentiful and include beach volleyball, harbour cruises, dolphin cruises, bushwalks, soccer, golf, surfing lessons and much more. In fact we offer a range of activities each day after lessons finish, and a full day excursion every weekend.

For example, you can take surfing lessons on Manly Beach, one of the most famous surfing beaches in the world. At Featherdale Wildlife Park you can wander among kangaroos, wombats and koalas. Try wine tasting at the famous Hunter Wine Valley or a fantastic bushwalk or even a dophin cruise. Ask us for more information on our social activities and sports! Below is a sample activity program.
